Yeah I know, I learned both x86 and arm, I found it sad when they where teaching it in college then, saying that it was dying and that we likely wouldn't give much use to it , i really liked and like x86, probably because it gave me so much more trouble than arm and I ended up learning a lot from it.

I found it quite useful because when your learning assembly having a solid understanding of C and a basic knowledge on the computer system and how they affect your program makes the language it self more easy to grasp and use.
Honestly found this book really helpful when I was learning x86 assembly

I only learnt 68000 assembly at university but can't remember much of it at all as I never use it.
