Hi dear Kim
Would you mind to tell us a bit about your journey in the realm of game and game developing/programming and what would be your advice for those who love to become a game developer?
We also love to know what it takes to become a proficient game developer.
Thanks, my friend. @~)~~~~

Hello everyone and thank you for your interest in my post.
The first step towards game development is learning C#, Java script, etc.
Personally I prefer C#. After 2 years of deep understanding of C#, I dove into Monodevelop using Microsoft Visual Studio.
There is a course called "Beginning game programming with C#" in coursera.org where you can get the basics.
Another course which helped me grasp my understanding and skills was "Unity game development" in udemy.com.
They give a full course on Unity with 5 practical projects.
Besides the skills in C# game creator are expected to have a creative mind and patience.
I hope you guys become successful in your endeavour

what babak said.
also. i've seen many games being solved as simple working with arrays and loops. is there some training that you must do mentally to forsee such abstract structures as graphics with logic and intellingence? or it's just practice?

I am planning on getting in unity 2D/3D game development myself, what I think is that a game dev should be creative and skilled enough to work independently and work well in a team (team work is lot better since work load will be a lot,if working solo) scripting, graphic design, animation, interface etc will be lot difficult to handle when it comes to big game dev.

Java script is preferable for Unity.
