Yes the last modules are hard without having a practical application of the concepts. To be fair you won't really need to worry about them until you've become confident in the rest of it anyway (e.g. I didn't use threads in Java for ages, until I became familiar with the basic stuff). If you've come this far with Java I'd say stick with it but Python is good if you're struggling with more key concepts. I started with Python and work with Java now, but Python definitely helped me get into the programming mindset
