Should I be learning on both mobile and pc platforms?

Question

I am trying to learn java, by a mobil platform(android phone) but within the body of the courses; there are constant references to links for the android coding software. Therefore, I would like to know if it would be significantly beneficial to work on each course with a mobile platform on the go, while utilizing a pc while in the comfort of my own home.
Unless of course, there is not a significant difference while in the module learning stage, than I may opt to keep working mobile.
