Honestly , i'm studying this language at university since the last three months 😕, but 'till now i didn't understand the use of it 😫 , it's an old laguage ...

Pascal is a great language. It gives clear compile time messages and demands neat programming. It was my first programming language. Look for Delphi, embacadero, RAD xe . When you learn pascal well, learning another language is easy.

Actually, lots of legacy software especially in finance/accounting and public administration. The language is not flexible enough to be still developed, but I remember accomplishing several applications in it, back in the mid-90s...

it was used in the 80's to teach programming. maybe your university just did not bother to update to java or python :-D
At beginners level it does not make much difference and this will still teach you some good practices. and you can still learn other languages on sololearn!
