Creating sections

Question

First I have no started any learning of CSS or JS yet. I want to know is it wrong to use <article> or <section> vs. <div>. Secondly I am trying to section off my sections in my blog and I am having trouble.

I think <div> might be the best option. I can't remember why, but I think it is better than <article> or < section>. Correct me if I'm wrong.
