Saving, waiting for a responce (help!)

Question

So I mas working on a code and when I tried to save it, it just pulled up a loading alert and has been going for about 20 minutes and the tab says waiting for a response.

I'm definitely connected to the internet, every other site is working including sololearn, using online version on a computer.

I'm really nervous to refresh because I've been working for awhile and I would loose a lot of stuff if it reloaded from the beginning.

Is there anyway I can save my changes or get rid of the loading thing or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah this sometimes happens to me also it just does that sometimes..... I think your out of luck I usually just save my code every five minutes just Incase this happens

I had the same issue a few times and I was not able to find a solution. My work got lost. I recommend you test and save your work in your computer first before uploading on code playground. Best of luck. Hope you have a better experience.
