Any other parents planning on teaching their kids to code?
I'm still pregnant, but I'm brushing up on my skills to teach my son to code as soon as he's old enough. I can't wait to make python games with him! Or a small website just for him and his friends.

I quite often allow my daughter to see the inner workings, such as "inspect element" in the browser or my source code to programs I've written. No pressure, just implanting the knowledge that everything that runs has something telling it what to do, and in the case of software, a developer who's pre-provided the basis for its behaviour. When she's ready and curious enough, she'll ask 😊
Worst case, she doesn't ever ask, but grows up with a better understanding of the world having learned early to "get to the source" in evaluating the world as it's presented.

Oh yeah, I'm not planning to teach him something super complex until he's in his teens! Maybe as a kid I would start him on something small like Scratch. No pressure, though!
However, have you guys seen the "Code-A-Pillar" toy for toddlers? It looks so cool! Teaching them problem-solving that early is bound to give them a good start.
