The other answers are super great! But, I have another suggestion: I would just start building websites. "Learning by doing" is the best way to increase your skills, add to your portfolio, and truly figure out what it is you want to do with your skills. For instance, do you enjoy doing front end developing or back end developing more? What. kind of websites do you like designing? What kind of problems do you want to solve with your web skills? The only way to really get into web development is to immerse yourself as web technologies change constantly. Really do your research. When you find a bump in the road, it is just another opportunity to learn something new. I've been building websites since I was 12, and I still learn something new everyday 13 years later. I wouldn't be able to do that if I hadn't dived right in. And there are tons of free resources out there to learn more about web development, including books, Youtube videos and seminars.

U should start learning one of the front end mvc frameworks (ember, react, angular). But only if you realy understand javascript. Also next step after you have good understanding of css to learn (sass or less).
