unity coupled with c# is the easiest game design platform,i don't think you'll ever need bootstrap

@Kat Unity actually dropped JavaScript all together. It’s just C# now.

C# or Javascript are great to start with as you can use them within the Unity engine. Any object orientated programming language would be helpful. I would recommend finding a game engine you like (Unity, Unreal, GameMaker and Godot are a few that come to mind, the former being the most popular, I personally use and enjoy Unity) and then learning the language it uses, which is a lot of fun if you learn while following tutorials and creating games! Good luck and I hope you have lots of fun on your journey!! ^-^

Since Python is easier and most powerful language with lots of libraries, Start with python first, then you can go for C# or C++ or Java(for android games)
