Help! I'm the beginner and don't know much how to do it.Please guide me in this instance.I know that SoloLearn have community of brilliant programmer who can help me.We have to develop a website to identify meritorious students who are performing well in study, sports and other activities in a given region (here Gujarat, India).
It is hard to identify meritorious student.We need to design a web portal which helps in analyzing and evaluating the student who done well in study, sports and other activities.

make a database which stores everything you need in order to evaluate who is meritorious and who is not.and evaluate that.

btw, to make it a profitable service, i'd check also the employment rate in relation to the school attended.
