Hi, I started getting interest in programming 2 weeks ago, but there are too many languages, i would like to develop desktop software just as a hobby, Could u give me some advice on what language should I learn as first language?

First you should learn to create console applications using C++, because console applications are easy. If you want to create GUI applications then you can try .NET and Visual Basic.

I haven't learned Python. So I can't tell. I am still a beginner.

I just read on a similar topic that Python3 is a good choice as first language.What do u think? Thanks for your time.
