I've only done a few challenges. I'm not good at time limits on my analysing the question so mostly timed out without making an answer. I'm not interested in how quick only how perfect.

I started doing them again.
For me is a quick and easy way, to find weak areas in a language.
What I get wrong or find interesting, I copy the code and use it to make a new code or project related to the quiz code.
Leveling up is nice too, but code is more important to me.

I've never done a challenge. They may be helpful for learning to code, but I seem to learn better by writing codes and figuring out why they don't work and helping others with their coding problems. I sometimes scratch my head when I hear that there are a lot of repeated questions and that success can come from memorizing them, and see that some folks do huge amounts of challenges but don't post codes or take part in the Q & A. I totally get how the competition can be exhilarating/relaxing but I don't have enough hours in my day, so I vent my competitive streak on the squash court 😉

I agree with those who've mentioned how challenges help you pick up where you are weak. They are actually helping me target my study with Java, & improve my ability to read programs.

Well...on my part..it's very fun and relaxing.A hard days work, and I always feel better with challenges, not the same with other members, some people don't like it,but the main point is its fun
//perhaps slightly educative

Challenge is fun if you win but it is extremely frustrating at the moment you lose it😂

It helps people solidify their learning and it also provides them with experience so they can "level up" their account.
Like Tooselfish, I don't do them either.

I do challenges a lot!!! My reasons are these:
* I have learnt and still learn a lot from doing them
* They are a lot of fun!!
* They, for me at least, have helped me tackle better some questions that sometimes come up in interviews
* They help me create a network of followers (the people I often play with become followers of mine and vice versa and I like to learn from their codes)
* They make me win lots of XP

Challenges just keep me away from writing Scripts. I don't need XPs as long as my Codes become better every day.

By challenging others, you can practice your knowledge about the language and coding, and gain a lot of XP.
