Because some of people don't know about COPYRIGHT.
And some codes are very useful and they are everywhere, so you don't need to write them again.

Some code is licensed in a way that you are allowed to copy them. Personally, i would copy a bit of code that was open source, take it apart to understand, then use it in my own. If, however, copyright is preventing copying, what they are doing is illegal. Report them, or something.

I mean the code in the sololearn, and some people copy the code and put it in their name again.
But you got some good answers. Thank you

No need to reinvent the wheel. It is certainly better to import modules, though :)

I first read the code from an exercise carefully and try to understand how it will out put. then I run it and see the output. after that I erase it and try to rewrite the code as original. if I'm successful then I try to creatively write my own simple but expanded version of the example code. That work well for my learning process 😁

Even saving the examples as is helps for quick reference when you're writing later.

You know that phenomenon on YouTube, when you find a comment which have received multiple likes, you automatically have hundred of other people pretty much replicating that comment so as to get the same attention and like. Same thing applies here with codes. people want likes, they therefore copy paste others' work to obtain than.

In sololearn I copy code to help other people.
They have a problem with code.
I open the code if I want to save my changes, I need to save it in my own account.
Most of the time I put the name of the person in the title so it is obvious that it is theirs.
