what can you do with sql that is impossible to do with excel?

in the past, I have stumbled upon the following, and I hope it's perhaps of use to u somehow:

You can run SQl in Excel as well.
But when you use SQL on it's own, it's very powerful.
not everything can be done in excel.
sql can do much more than excel.
excel has limited sql functions.
sql by design is a programming language on its own.

But obviously you can try Access instead of Excel
since both Access and Sql are more defined as proper Dbms programs and can perform queries
