By the way, so you don't think it's impossible, I've been working for a telecommunications company for the past 11ish years. I don't have a degree, 100% self-learned in programming, and I work alongside a bunch of people who do have degrees. What's possible is whatever you think is possible for yourself and whatever you're willing to fight for. The reality is that if you don't do the things required to learn it, then you won't learn it and you won't get the carrot at the end of the stick. If you do the things you need to do, you'll open up endless possibilities for yourself and you can get exactly what you're wanting from life.
If you want it bad enough, keep pushing toward that goal each and every day. The universe does not like stagnation; stagnation is the death of all things. We're creations of vibration because we're meant to constantly move, change, and impact the space around us. Never stop moving; never slow down. When something distracts you on the side of the road, don't pull over but keep driving forward.

First thing you'll want to focus on if you want to do self-learning is your ability to research and seek out resources to learn from. That's pretty much all there is to it. When people go to school, they're basically paying people to tell them to read a book, which is something they should already know how to do. You're paying for someone to force you to do something you could have already been doing yourself. If you can't seek out resources or information yourself, then it's probably better to pay someone else to do it for you and you just learn from what they tell you directly.
Considering you're on SoloLearn asking this question, I imagine you're not entirely incapable of finding resources. If you open up the 'Course' (https://www.sololearn.com/Courses/) section of SoloLearn, there is a list of courses you can select from and learn.
If you're wanting to be a software developer, rather than a web developer, then I'd focus on learning stuff like Java, C#, or C++. (Learn SQL regardless of what you end up doing, it's useful nearly everywhere) You'll want to take time to learn common practices, such as code formatting and naming conventions, so you know how to properly write your code since you may end up on a team later or you may need to read your code after not reading it in a long time. I'd take some time to learn proper design techniques as well, and utilize simple systems like flow charts / pseduocode to map out your program prior to programming it. It takes a little time in the beginning, but often saves a lot of time in the end.
Anyways, when in doubt, fire up Google.com and start asking your questions to it instead. It'll provide you with a nearly endless stream of resources. In this day and age, if you have the internet, you've no excuse to be able to master any IT concept you're curious about.
