its very simple dear just use php tags that are
<? php

?>
and write any statement thats supports php. e.g
echo "welcome to PHP";
write this statement in php tags given obove it is used to print the msg in double quotes. and save it in C: xampp/htdocs folder as first.php and then open it in ur browser by writing localhost/first.php
