SoloLearn API?

I hate Google. I hate them so much there just isn't enough space for me to explain why. I hate Apple almost as much. So, when it came to selecting a new phone, there was little choice and I settled with Microsoft.. *sigh*... Anyway, it dawned on me pretty soon that there is no SoloLearn app for Windows phones - nooooo! First off, why not? Are there any plans for SoloLearn on Windows phone? If there aren't, what are the chances of SoloLearn releasing an API so that we can make our own apps that integrate with SoloLearn features. I think it would be awesome and very fitting with what SoloLearn is all about. Please, please consider a SoloLearn API. :D

You don't necessarily need API for it. Just saying.

It's very late in the day for Windows phone @Bagshot It was announced last year there will be no new features https://twitter.com/joebelfiore/status/917071399541391360 When the manufacturer gives up on a system, it would be a waste of time for anyone to write new software for it. And I'm not saying Windows Phone was good or bad. I have an opinion on that, but it's not relevant. Fact is I think we can say with confidence there will be no SoloLearn Windows phone app.

Not quite sure what you mean, but I guess my point is that an API has great potential, both for practical and educational reasons. Imagine being able to code an app that has access to your profile, posts, codes and followers, etc. The mind boggles with possibilities. But I know it's not that straight forward, I'm realistic. However, imagine hitting Platinum and then being presented with an API key. :D

Windows phones were a market failure. There were never many and they're kind of dying out. And an official API could be so easily abused to grind XP/followers.

Android is most flexible OS for mobile phones.. you can do almost everything on it.. you can hate Google, but we have to admit that google is now part of our lives. My friend had Windows phone, it deserves the same hate you keeps for apple

Why don't you go with Android? It's the most open-source OS that's available. Windows Phone-based Mobiles are dying out. I agree Apple is not great for a number of reasons (besides the restrictions). Your next choice is Linux but, always do your research first so you don't waste $$ buying something that's 90% incompatible or obsolete with everything else. While you COULD reverse-engine/SRC a program, that takes a lot of time and knowledge and right resources.
