i only write in notepad and thus feel very excluded from this conversation

hinanawi Notepad is too elaborate for me.
Vi is definitely my all time favourite!😂

... Except for team projects (we use eclipse)

... And some large-ish personal scripting projects (for that I am using Atom at the moment)

In the past I used NetBeans, more comfortable for java projects than eclipse imho.
