Janning I accept your answer and will not downvote it. But... Whatever you learn in your life: There will always be a point you have to forbid yourself to think "I dont understand" but to really really fight. And that is true especially if the topic is a bit complicated. I could have expressed myself different and avoid "lazy". But the message remains the same: accept the challenge and dont simply say " ... i dont understand". Scream, hate, throw tomatoes, regard Oma as hard evil and mean.... but dont stop until you got it. Sometimes there is no other way. And Latudanee will never forget that euphoric feeling if the fight us won and it will help through the next challenges of SL and life in general.

Hi Latudanee ! First of all, I'm not a big fan of put downs and I'm sorry to see that someone felt the need to resort to that as a response to your post. So, I'd like to take the opportunity to add an encouraging note. :) It's hard to find a good JavaScript tutorial. Besides completing this one, I've also taken a workshop with a coding camp and read through the w3schools material. All three have very different approaches to their pedagogical methods. I recently shared this observation with my coworker and he said something I thought was incredibly insightful. I'll see if I can paraphrase his words without sacrificing accuracy: "JavaScript is difficult for a couple of reasons: It was designed in a hurry and it is a multipurpose language. It's not straightforward like CSS or even HTML because both of those serve a fairly singular or narrow purpose. When the language you're trying to teach can do almost anything, it's difficult to know where to start." His opinion, of course, but I thought it was apt.
