Data science, R or Python

This is general question which language is better in data science R or Python

I would definitely lean towards Python, if you are at the starting stage. Python is a lot more versatile than just data manipulation and learning it gives you a lot broader scope. As an essentially functional programming language focused on statistics, graphics, data manipulation, machine learning, and analysis in general, I prefer it to the 'generality' of Python. Buuuut, as others have said, Python can be a good choice because of it's generality and functional & object oriented capabilities. There are obviously many people who do data science and deep neural networks, etc with Python. It just depends on your goals and mainly your preferences. Also, there IS a fairly large R community and many great books and tutorials out there. (PS - I'm a research scientist & data scientist)

Python, imho it can almost everything R can. it’s more popular and has a big community.
