Can someone help me about programming competition?

Question

Our IT Dean will conduct a programming competition in our school and the 10 winners will become participants in a collegiate programming competition. And I need a tips or suggestions about a topic to study to be ready for a programming competition. To be honest I learn my first programming language here in Sololearn (which is java) and I believe theres a lot of good programmers here that has a experience in a competition.

It's not only for me but also for other participants because our school is aiming to become champions to the said collegiate programming competition. To obtain that, sharing is the key.

If you have the equipment, you can do some minecraft hack.

The challenge might be programming a labyrinth with some extras.

They can write in Python. The Api is easy.

If Java/Kotlin is wanted, they can try a plugin for mine craft.
