Im about to start my first year learnimg Computer Science in college. Any advice?

Practice a lot. Depending on what you want to get out of it afterward, you can pump up your hackerrank (or something similar) and/or build a portfolio. It will help set you apart from the people who just have CS degrees and not much else to show for it.

If you don't understand something Google it =) Try to read a lot and ask a lot of questions. Have fun!
