Hello! On SL there are different sorts of challenges.

1. Coding Challenges by SL users: these are called challenges because they make us use what our knowledge in programming languages but they are not really challenges because we are not competing against anyone for points or any sort of prize.

To participate in these just pick a coding vhallenge on the Learning page, that is the tab completely on the left, and read what must be done. Then you can go to Code Playground and code the solution and post the link to the code in a comment of the challenge.

2. Coding challenges by SL Team. There have not been any for a couple of weeks but usually they have a deadline and the code must be posted in the comments just like for regular coding challenges before the deadline. Usually SL picks a certain number of winner and they are awarded XPs.

It is left hand side to home tab or second tab from five in mobile.

3. Regular challenges with other members. In the app, you find the tab for these between the Learning tab and the Home page meaning your profile page tab. They allow you to compete with other users.

To participate, once you are on the challenge page, click on the + button, choose a weapon meaning a language and then someone you want to challenge. You can choose a person randomly.

Be aware that you will have 5 timed questions. Once you complete this, the person you challenge can accept and decline the challenge. If he or she accepts the challenge and complets it the winner will be evident and XPs will be awarded... or lost
