note that Iaas based cloud services are complicated coz u set up complete stack including OS, thats y your credit card info is asked even for your free account, just to be sure you dont exceed allocated resources
example : AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure

but if you are looking for something simpler then there are many Paas cloud hosting services that offers ample storage for testing without any credit card for free.
Example : Heroku, github (github pages are also good Paas example), firebase, gitlab

its always advised to have Good linux/unix commands knowledge if you wish to master the cloud hosting environment coz most of the servers and data centers use linux.

If you don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars a month for bigger host, amazon is greate. There’s no monthly payment. You pay what you use.

And for hosting some linux basics would be good.
