It could be best for python because in most of its distros python interpreter is pre-installed.
And if you want to do programming with swift and you java not a Mac computer , Ubuntu (a Linux distro) is supported for programming with swift but you can't develop apps for Mac os or iOS.

Yep, Linux is a beautiful choice , its even very good for web development , its free , security minded its might seem a little confuse to get use to it if you have being using window for programming , all the seem it a great choice

It is "ready" to it out of the box. Unfortunately it isn't user friendly for beginners. It looks like huge amount of universal tools that are depend from each other. It is better to start with some IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that hides low level details.
There are a lot of IDEs, including cross platform ones.

If you are just beginning programming and/or using linux I recommend picking yourself up a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and load Raspbian onto it. It comes pre loaded with different IDEs , they have free pdfs on python, how to use the terminal, how to program in C/C++. Their magazine has helpful things in it (free pdf download). It is aimed towards beginner programmers and those unfamilar to linux. Keep in mind that the raspberry pi is a tinkerboard and its not the most powerful computer but it definetly helped me learn and love python and linux before I found sololearn.

Or you can install Raspbian Desktop on a VM. It cannot be dual booted unless you wanna wipe your current OS.

The magazine is called 'MagPi'. I can tell you though that using both Sololearn and a Pi does help learn programming when used inconjunction with each other.

ADeeL linux/unix are not complicated. When you grow up you will see that almost everything runs on linux/unix. Windows kills processors with graphics. For programing this is useless.
