Is cyber security allowed on sololearn??
I would like to either post or create lessons on cyber security, will that be okay. I don't want to enable the script kitties, but I feel everyone should understand basic security.

Landric Russell sure. If you have time check out this Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking course I made and give critique or suggestions for additions please.

Landric Russell the best advice I guess would be to submit the lessons and allow Sololearn to decide. Personally I enjoy Ethical Hacking and Security courses but I do see the importance of teaching it in a manner that reiterates the laws. Presenting it as"what to look out for" sounds much better than "how to" lol. Secure Coding Practices is also a subject you might consider covering if you have the knowledge and time.

Hi Queena Tobias offtopic chat in threads is frowned upon that being said... try the word beginner in the search bar for lots of helpful advice. Consider joining our Discord chat server where many members are willing to offer help and advice.

BroFarOps discord is a great way to share info it allows pm. Feel free to offer suggestions for more topics we could potentially cover in a Cybersecurity-Ethical Hacking series.

BroFarOps it's in a comment above. If Landric Russell doesn't mind in his thread I would love to hear more subject suggestions ones I'm looking for a little help with are specifics on Sql injections and Cross site Scripting which I think will be relevant knowledge for coders to watch out for and use secure coding practices to help prevent.

Queena Tobias
take a lesson and practice and practice some more..
if you are completely new, html, css, and javascript are best to start with..
that will give you a good understanding of programming before you move forward..
if u want to hit the ground running
start with python..

bobbie how about a follow,, Maybe..lol

C# is a great language.
there is a C# lesson on here plus what's called the coding playground allows you to play with and practice your code..
I like it but I always go back and forth between c# and java because how similar they are.
take the c# course, play with some code, and ask some questions..
