I really want to get into game development but I don’t know where to start...

People say start with C++ or C# but others say I should start learning Python or Java. What should I do?

I suggest you to start with C++ for developing video games for PC or you can make mods for another game engines like Grand 5 & San it's very useful to practise coding with C++ or you can learn Java to make Android games.

I suggest to get a game engine(to make a game) and use the tutorials on the engine your using.
