Is it worth learning python?

And is it useful in game development?

I'd say it is worth it because Python was designed to make you write code in a simple and straightforward manner. When the syntax barrier is taken away from you, all that you need to focus is on your algorithms/program flow (no more hours and hours spent trying to find where you missed a semicolon). Python has libraries for game development (such as pygame), though I'm not sure how it stands in the industry.

Python is one of the best and powerful programming languages that will be use in lots of programming works. If you wanna work on game producing I suggest you work on Unity. Unity use C# and js but the large part of your work is to learn unity abilities. So if you wanna make a game first install unity:)))

Python is not good for normal games. Language depends on platform. Android - Java, Kotlin; IOS - Swift, Kotlin; Windows/Linux - C#, Java, C++
