Why use text editor when you can use IDE for better coding experience?

Or maybe I am just not that familiar with text editor... I mean, sure you can use plugin to debug and other things in text editor, but why not just use IDE since it came with pretty much everything that's needed?

I like using a standard text editor because it's lightweight. I also like using IDEs though, when the occasion calls for it.

Yeah, I find IDEs to be buggy. Don't get me wrong: It can be pretty handy to be able to open a "workspace" and just dive right in, but it's comforting for me to be able to go back to basics in any setting.
