Can hour of code help me learn code?

I’m required to do it for school, but the project i have to do is really easy, and i don’t think it actually teaches me anything. It’s like CodeAcadeny, where they give you instructions on the side, but my hour of code’s instructions are so easy and explaining that all I have to do most of the time is just press run or type in basically what the instructions say. Does anyone have any good experience with hour of code? Because if they do I’ll do more, they’re fun at least.

Yes, if you practice for one hour, you should be able to learn a few simple scripting languages such as HTML and CSS. What language are you going to use in school?
