IS THIS A BUG?

Question

Many times while I am engaging in code challenges on my mobile app (android) I have realized that sometimes when a question shows that needs you to input text as the answer becomes inactive.

I tap on the text input field so that the keypad appears but it does not. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking and I end up not answering and losing the challenge altogether.

My question is, is this a bug ? has anyone else ever experienced this? or maybe the problem is with my phone.... etc.
