Is C++ good for creating 2d/3d games?

Hi friends, I just started to learn C++ some months ago and I know some C++ upto some intermediate level... I just wanted to know how you could create games using C++. Please also tell what game engine would work best for me...

You could start designing your game from UE, by using blueprint, no programming is required.
