How to display degree symbol in C programming?

I was writing a code of converting Celsius to Fahrenheit. Everything works fine except I want to display degree symbol. How do I do that? I have tried copy pasting but it was display in gibberish. I have look up and found about utf-8. I don't have to read the article and just want a quick answer for tomorrow's assignment.
