To become a cyber security professional, you need first to have a holistic understanding of IT, and have some basic prerequisites in networks, system administration (Windows and Linux), programming (C, Python, HTML...), Databases (SQL).

Then you can follow a program for a cyber security certification (CompTIA Security+, CCNA cyber-ops, CEH, OSCP, CISSP...)
