What approach is best product based coding or people based coding?

Is it best to first make your product then give it to the people irrespective of whether they like it or not, or should one first ask people what they want then program it later. Which one takes more time, cost, etc?

Hmm... First you should think that the given product will be useful for the people and will have some new advantages so that the product gives profit.
You Should think whether it will be useful for people instead of asking people.
People will say anything.
But, you shouldn't follow the advice given by deceptive people.

Yes, after the demand of some people , some possible changes can be made in the product.....

Otherwise, the product should be developed after thinking about the advantages and disadvantages and people's wishes But not by people's opinions or advice.
