Chatbots Vs applications; who wins?

Do you think chatbots in messengers and social networks will be more extended than android and ios applications?or not? What's your idea?

An application is a generalisation of a chatbot. A chatbot is essentially an application itself. You are comparing an application with specialized purposes (chatbot), to just applications in general, which does not really compute.

If you are trying to compare chatbots to other kinds of applications, there will always be other apps which stand out in terms of functionality. While standalone chatbots exist, they more commonly built into other apps, and account for that one part of the entire use case.
