Ideas?

Question

I need a good idea for a new code project. Something not many people have done before. Something not TOO simple, but not too complex, either. Something useful, something that *pops*.
I'm open to any idea, just shoot.

I have more than 1 idea for you! I have a bag of ideas for you! Actually, not even a bag of ideas, an application of a bag of ideas...
there is this app called Idea Bag 2, basically just has alot of ideas...(I downloaded and gave 5 stars)

Install "Idea Bag" (1 or 2, you choose) at the Play Store. It's free and very easy to use. It gives you programming projects for almost all types (web-based, apps, storage, and much more). Also it has a "Notes" section on each challenge, in case you want to write small ideas for later.

I suggest you build a specialized calculator. I have built 3 calculators: a LED resistor calculator; a Freelance Fee calculator (http://phaze-phusion.co.za/freelance-calculator/ not mobile friendly) and a Password strenght checker (http://phaze-phusion.co.za/password-checker/)
There's lots of mathematical logic in a calculator.
A homeloan repayment calculator or a solar energy related calculator can be fun to do

why not have a survey of what people are having trouble with (for example .. students of any level.) and come up with something regarding the data you acquired?
