Why do i feel CANVAS is superior to SVG?

Question

According to html post, canvas is used drawing simple to complex graphics? If so, why use SVG at all ?

Svg draws vector images, which is undistorted images disregard how big the images are. Svg is best in creating shape like logos or icons for front end web components.

SVG can make for high quality graphics, but in the end canvas is the one that can make high complexity graphics.
