Start from C language first so it will give u some basic idea of coding....and then start with java becoz concepts in java are more tough in that..... first start with basics in C and then try to write programs urself.

It depends how much you are familiar with programming fundamentals.
If you have read some basics about C/C++, then you can start learning java.

If you haven't, I would recommend you to first go with C/C++.
