How do I create a domain address?

I'm learning HTML and how to build websites. I'm curious on how to get and use my own domain. If there's a course that'll teach me more about domains please include it.

there is free web hosting tho... no domain, but you can put your web in the internet.

@S!d even if you have to pay for a domain how would you use it?

you will need to have a web host or your own server. You will need to purchase your domain and then you will need to write your HMTL code for your website and then upload it via a file transfer protocol to your dedicated server or webhost.

@Katicia you would need to input name server info and a few other details from your domain name purchase into your hosts cPanel (admin area). This is how your web address (domain name) directs people to your content (web host). Quite complicated if you don't know where to look.
