I am 18 so do you think it is late to start coding?

It is never late... If you have a passion for what you do, if you like that, work on it, read, practice, every day, for 15 minutes, half an hour, 3 hours, but try to be consistent and the most important thing - NEVER GIVE UP!

Some things will bring you down, you will be sad, unsatisfied, you will feel that you are doing it wrong, that you are bad, but, after all of that, it is important that you don't give up, stand up and learn more, study, compete, work on yourself, work on your codes, and love that, love whatever you make!

It doesn't matter how old you are. It matters if you know how to do it. I started around eleven, and now am almost 14. I don't have very much experience, though. I doesn't matter that I've been coding for almost three years, it matters how much time you put in, and how much your incentive to learn is. So if you want to, don't think twice, go and do it! Your age doesn't matter.

you can also learn by doing real things and learn the language more in depth at the same time.

56 and hacking at Python myself. It comes somewhat more slowly these days, but the warm fuzzy belly feeling when it finally works is just as rewarding as ever.

most people start at 18 infact after getting into college still end up becoming good programmer because they are highly consistent .So if you can be consistent it doesn't matter .

I started coding at 8, knew four languages (plus dialects) by 18, was a professional software developer (for DOS, then Unix) from around age 26-31, when Life (and 9/11) intervened. I'm 46 now, and have been interested in Python for years, but have yet to get very far with it. SoloLearn looks like an interesting platform so I'm hoping it'll help expand my horizons a bit.
