Anyone else having "connection" issues?

Every time I've tried to use the coding playground for the last two days it's coming up with connection errors. Just about ready to switch over to another app because of it unfortunately. I like SL but I need something halfway reliable and this isn't the first time I've experienced this with this app, but it usually never lasts longer than a few hours.

You are sitting in a very strong wlan, googling stuff, downloading graphics, watching youtube videos - but you can't access q&a here even if you click at 'recent' ten times.

Because 'your connection sucks'.

This is no fantasy and not the personal problem of single users but a widespread problem that Sololearn has to solve.

And the first step to solving might well be to be honest about who's causing it.

📌 YES, I'm having the same issue, especially when I'm posting comments or upvoting comments/codes. This issue is completely random. Sometimes it lasts for a long time, sometimes it occurs only once or twice. The message "no connection" appears in a second or two after my actions, making me repeat my activities. Playground is also unpredictable sometimes, hence I try not to use often.
I'm afraid this issue can impede my personal progress, reduce my XP and prevent me from acquiring new achievements. I just can't tell all my followers "Hey, you liked my code last week! Could you check if your like is there or not?".
📌 NO. I'm afraid there is no IRONY here. It seems that this app was intentionally designed to be a nice self sufficient " apple commune". Just have a look at the achievement badges.

Anyone else see the absolute irony in an app that teaches almost every major language out there but doesn't have a technical support team that can code reliable server based software? Not to crap on them or anything because I'm sure they do work hard but that's absolutely comical to me lol

yes when you are going on the challenge and you go back because of your connection by the time you come it's time out

When I try to save a code, then it shows no internet connection, even if I have 4G+.

HonFu yes that's true. Maybe there is really no incentive to fix things unless there was any significant competition or a large member fallout, which is unlikely.

Same thing here. I lost challenges cuz of it. But i saw an update on SL and they said they fixed the bug in the Code Playground. You should check it out.

Yeah, it's not just about the waiting, it actually hurts people here, because people will comment, answer, run codes less.

Even simple upvoting is a barrier at times.

HonFu Certainly. I've had to upvote 5+ times at times just to try to get it to stick. And the fact that it takes some time before you know if it fails to go through or not, makes it even worse...

Everyone buy the Pro version so that SL can afford better servers and network equipment.
