JQuery is used in front-end while node.js is used for server-side programming.
So, choose JQuery if front-end interests you or node.js otherwise.

Javascript and Python are two rapidly growing languages. So I think, frameworks like node.js and Django will take over php in the coming future.
And moreover, I'd recommend node.js as you don't need to learn different languages for front-end and back-end.
Django, I'd say, is comparatively easier but will be a great choice if you know python.

For server side i learn php..in future which will be more demanding? And where used wordpress?
