js or python..that depends on what your goal is. if its to get your first code put of the way..python is a great start.

javascript is good but you will need tp learn html and css to get the full power. which is what a lot of people do as it gives you a very broad foundation to work with.

if its to create apps..python..to learn web dev javascript.

a great book series is heads up. you can read heads up javascript or python. it teaches you in a very great way that helps you remember but do the sololearn course as well
