What is the WORST programming language you have ever worked with?

I see many people ask which one is the best, how about the worst one in your opinion? 😉 I'll start with LISP, used it for an Artificial Intelligence course.

just try an esoteric language, especially... I lost the name. Like the Eight Circle of Hell in Dante's story. Non deterministic and uses base 3 with a crazy operation. And it's not Turing Complete due to memory limitations... Horrible to work with, as it is (above all) self-altering...

Java is always going to be the memory-leaking, verbose, obfuscated bane of my existence. Almost turned me off programming forever. Thankfully, C* languages (then eventually Python) led me back.

LISP isn't a bad language, it was a fantastic concept which we've since applied to nearly all major languages following it, but the execution is... dated. I do however still find it hilarious that they expected people to memorize made-up pronunciations for CDAR, CADAR, CDDAAR, etc.
Absurd.
