web i would say php, OS would be VBA or C#. Most people tend to have more than one with the favourite being the first one you learn as you face first impression effect.

I love C because you know what you do (at least there are less hidden things than in other languages such as Java) and C++ because it is the OOP version of C :)

That's like asking a bunch of animals what's their favorite food. Of course the Gazelle enjoy HTML; Hippos eat Java; Tigers munch C++; etc. There's no single favorite language just as there's no single food source in the animal kingdom.
