Because as an beginner html is cool I know its not programming language but its not that much to learn as an beginner also if we see properly as we imagine and replace ourselves on their position as an starting with python its ok there is no problem but learning like what is strings? What is functions ? etc it can be learned but results like an line after typing several words therefore an getting good start I think html and CSS is best it will give you a momentum to learn everyday and that momentum help to learn other languages too but if you see as an begineer html and CSS is probably cool as its shows result more fast and with graphics like colour etc these small things make our interest grow about these things that interest makes us more motivate to learn something new and unique everyday ..... 😉💜💜💜💜

I can think of a few. - Html is not a programming language. - Html makes displaying graphics easy. - Html makes getting XP on Sololearn challenges easy. - The web languages have and advantage. That is because static html 5 can run well in the playground. The html5 can be linked to other services to improve code.

Added to that:😄 -Html doesn't freak out a beginner with algorithms -Html course is short and attractive to the general mass people

The demand for web designers or front end web developers has been high. We are not required to learn python to be front end, web developers.
