Why can not we delete comments or answers from our posts?

You can tag a moderator to delete it for you or use the report button and say it’s a spam....

Because you're not a moderator so you don't decide what's spam or not - however, you can report posts that you feel are breaking community rules.

Unlike other social media networks like Facebook and the rest, you can't turn of comments for your own post or even delete irrelevant ones but this responsibility has been handed over to the moderators as Anhjje said but instead you can tag a mod to help you with the task as JTLZ 🇨🇦 [#NeverGiveUp!] Also said.

But then imagin you could delete comments on your own questions, then every user who spamms a post will delete the corrections by either a mod or other members which who be actually annoying.
I think SL thought twice about this feature.
