What is happened with webCL? CL, not GL.

Is it dead API or what? Are Khronos developers working on it? Why it is not implemented in modern browsers? How can I use it now? webCL context is not defined, even for play/experiments?

Well quite easy and obvious. 1. Last stable release is 5 year ago. In IT this are ages 2. Currently, no browsers natively support WebCL. 3. WebCL, being an open-ended software developed for web applications, there is lot of scope for vulnerabilities in the design and development fields too. As log they don't fix this it will die. They need support from MS, Apple, Google,...

Thomas Wittek Thank you for your answer. I just hope that it will not be dead tecnology. Imagine, how will be cool, using it to create games or other computation stuff.
